Rare venomous snake found in Bangladesh

A rare snake named "Kanta Dhundal" has been spotted in Badda area of Dhaka city. It was said earlier that this snake was about to extinct from our country.

Kanta Dhundal snake looks like the familiar Chandrabora. But it is shorter in length than the Chandrabora. A full grown Kanta Dhundal is about 25-30 inch long.

The snake was captured by amature snakecharmer Zahid. Mr. Zahid has so far worked for saving about 200 venomous snakes after taking training from the Youth Development Department in 2000.
